This weeks client focus is on Peter McCarthy who has been training with Joe Bonington for 5 years, both one-on-one personal trainer and as part of the outdoor group training sessions on the Northern Beaches.

What do you do for a living?
Consultant in IT, primarily support for my company that was bought out. Own business in computer software. Part time Martial Arts Instructor. Part time poker player.
If you could live anywhere where would it be?
Right where I am, Mona Vale Beach, maybe a just few houses closer to the beach!
What are you reading?
Ambler Warning by Robert Ludlum (Fiction)
Marine Sniper by Charles Henderson (Biography)
What do you watch?
Science Fiction, but right now watching the 70’s TV show Monkey!
What are you listening to?
Radio, Nova mostly, other CDs include David Bowie, Prince, The Cure.
Whats your vice?
Spending money on big boys toys.

I have webbed toes¦.
What is the key to happiness?
Balance.
What do you do with Joe?
Perhaps this should be re-worded, What would you like to do to Joe? At the moment Sweat and Tears outdoor group training 3 times a week, but have also done many months of gym work and 1 on 1 Personal Training. Been training with Joe now for nearly 5 years.
What do you get out of it?
Everything. My work is mostly sitting behind a computer and I’m basically a lazy person, but training with Joe gives me the balance my life needs to stay healthy. Before I started training I was in a bad state and lining up for a heart attack of diabetes. I still have a way to go but I am on the path to a much better life.
